FIRST® is a global organization dedicated to the advancement of STEM and business education. It is their mission to help build today's youth into the science and technology leaders of the future through hands-on experience and competitive learning.

We compete in the FIRST® Robotics Competition, which is for high school students across the world. In January each year, we are tasked with rules for a competitive robotics game. From there, we have two months to design, build, wire, and program a robot for this game, using subteams to divide the work and do it as a team. Then we compete! We have two district competitions, and if we perform well, we can move on to compete at the state competition.
